Jack, Heather, Keelyn, Ryley, Delaney and Addy. We are a family of 6. 4 girls, Jack and I. We live in a beautiful house built in 1850 in Milford, NH. Most days I feel very blessed with 4 healthy children.. There are a few days where I pray to God to let us get through the day...

Real Quick

Based on my friend Susie's recommendation, I think I will post on a weekly basis with a running "draft" until posted. I think if I posted as much as I'd like.. there would be waaayyyy toooo many posts!

So, the "real quick":

Adyson had her 4 month dr. visit today. She is 16.7 lbs and 26 1/2" long. She is in the 95th percentile for her weight and over the 95th for her height! TOOOO FUNNY as most of you know, Keelyn, Ryley and Delaney were little munchkins.. that didn't reach those stats until they were 9 MONTHS OLD!!! WHOA! Poor little girl got 3 shots and a liquid "shot" by mouth for the rotavirus. UGH!

Getting used to blogging....

o.k. I've figured out.. you really need to have a list of things you want to write about; Because, I forgot to mention more than just Delaney getting sick.... but 2 other VERY IMPORTANT MILESTONES. Sat. Jan 26th.. the day Adyson turned 4 months old ... RYLEY LOST HER FIRST TOOTH!!!! Check out the photo! She is PUMPED! The TOOTH FAIRY left her a $20! She said to me "Mom, my tooth is getting looser". So I told her if it came out today she would get $$ from the tooth fairy TONIGHT so within 5 minutes, as she sat next to me on the couch she said "MOM, IT CAME OUT!", and don't you know it ... a little chicklet in the palm of her hand! The rush of adrenaline made her cry for a bit saying how much it hurt, but after a few, she was all smiles. My Smiley Ryley Bear!

Then YESTERDAY Sunday Jan. 27th, Delaney and Ryley took a bath... Delaney ran around naked for quite a while.. then I heard her yell from upstairs... "I DID PEE PEE ON THE POTTY". I ran upstairs to find a WET bum and pee in the toilet! WAHOOO! It only gets easier from here! She got a whole Halloween packet of "EMMY's" aka
M & M's. Life is good.

Adyson has her 4 month dr. appt. Wed. I think she is getting 3 shots :-(. She has just recently started eating oatmeal baby cereal is is enjoying it! I've put a photo of her in her highchair with that big "I'm waiting to EAT smile". HA!

I forgot to mention.. Poor little Lanie came down with CROUP starting Wed. night ~ 102 fever ~ Sounding like a seal with that "barking" cough. She seems to be turning the corner today as her temp. was lower and cough sounding more productive. Poor little punkin pie.. every time she coughs she'll say "I'm sick, I'm sick, I'm sick".. :-( Feel better Sweet Pea!

Tomorrow is Monday.. this week consists of Jack heading to NJ Tues. ~ Adyson getting her shots Wed. ~ Jack returning Thurs. night so he can accompany Keelyn to her 3rd ski lesson at Crotched Mountain. Colleen informed me "Keelyn is the best one in the class" .. makes me smile inside... she LOVES skiing and Ryley.. her love is SNOWBOARDING.. she is the cat's meow! You may see her on EXTREME GAMES in a few years! Next weekend includes a visit from my friend SHA! haven't seen her in a while.. our old roommate.. we miss ya!! Looking forward to you visiting and catching up, girls are excited to see Elle! And SUNDAY... Daddy is taking Keelyn and Ryley to HANNAH MONTANNA 3-D concert MOVIE - they are beside themselves! I'll post more during the week to see how the week has deviated from what is planned. Never a dull moment in the Flynn house. Cheers!

A New Years Resolution?

I wonder... boy do I love reading blogs.. I just wonder if I can make my own happen?? I sit here and type with Addy in my lap.. Dora playing on the TV in the next room with no one watching, and the other girls with daddy watching Pans Labyrinth. Not my kinda movie.

My bathroom is COMING along! While Jack ENJOYED himself out in Zurich (MF'er.. another story) Grampi and I hung out and did our daily routine. He worked on the bathroom while I toted children to/from school, dr. appts., birthday parties, and ski lessons. It was a busy week last week, but let me tell you how MUCH I completely enjoyed sledding with Keelyn, Ryley and Delaney at the birthday party we went to. It was wonderful to just let go... scream and laugh as we repeatedly went up and down the hill, BOY O' BOY, thanks to Steve for watching little Addy so I could have so much fun!

Hmmm, I really do like this journaling.. BUT, as I type I think of the dishes I have waiting for me in the sink and how it is 8:20 PM and everyone is STILL wide awake. SCHOOL NIGHT?!!??!

I better get to it..
