2nd try at this....

Well, today is June 1st... we are currently under a Tornado Watch! FUN TIMES... This past weekend was Memorial Day... to celebrate we spent Friday with our good friends the Porters, Sat..was somewhat uneventful, although Jack and I did get to go see the HANGOVER II.... and I can say.. laughter is the best medicine! I loved the movie. jack was supposed to record our friend Jason with his band - TOP SHELF HABIT - with their CD release, but they were going on AFTER 10 pm, and we thought that was just too late. Sunday, we went to the Peter's house. That was a fun day full of pool time, great food and a gorgeous sunny afternoon! Monday (Memorial day) we had an impromptu get together at Mike Kacos' house. MAN... GOOD TIMES! The pool was great.. we brought Guinness, the dog, with us; the kids had a great time and the weather was once again BEAUTIFUL!

The weekend before that (5/21) was the day that was "predicted" the world would end... well, not only did the WORLD NOT END... Delaney broke her arm!!!! :( Ryley was playing softball, Delaney and Addy were playing with their friends Ben, Maggie, Connor and Logan. Delaney was on the monkey bars and fell!!! Melissa (Ben's, Maggie and Connor's mom) ran her over to me where instantly I knew it was broken. Every parent on the team immediately jumped into action. Someone jumped in my truck and brought it over to where we were, she also brought all my belongings as well. Melissa assured me Ryley and Addy would be fine with her. Then, out of NOWHERE comes this woman who says her husband is a doctor and if I needed him. I said "YES!!!' Out from behind the dug out, comes Dr. Martin, a doctor, we're familiar with from our visits to the Milford Medical Center emergency room! He immediately splinted her arm and put ice on it, as well as called the Nashua ER at St. Joe's. We were there within 25 minutes. I can't believe how fabulous everyone was in orchestrating all of this!!! At the ER, they took X-rays (see photos) - splinted it and told me to get to Orthopaedics either Mon. or Tues.

Prior to those events, as you know, Ryley joined SOFTBALL!!! She is GREAT!! She is on an instructional team, but, is doing FABULOUS and she is really loving it! Her team is called the Angels.

back in April.. we celebrated Delaney's 6th birthday.. at Hampshire Hills with a pool party. There were 16 kids and she had a BALL!

I actually think Delaney was getting VERY confident in the water, as she was jumping off the diving board (in the deep end) and swimming to the side (with me right next to her!!!)
