Jack, Heather, Keelyn, Ryley, Delaney and Addy. We are a family of 6. 4 girls, Jack and I. We live in a beautiful house built in 1850 in Milford, NH. Most days I feel very blessed with 4 healthy children.. There are a few days where I pray to God to let us get through the day...

Vacation is OVER :-(

We had a FANTASTIC week of vacation down the Jersey Shore. We visited with Jacks brother (Mike) and wife (Julie) and their 3 boys. Unfortunately, I was sick when we left (head cold..etc) and I think EVERY FLYNN got sick!

We got through it though with perfect weather. Pool and beach every day. I can't believe I didn't have to think of what we had to do on "wed" then who was coming over on "thurs". you know what I mean? CLEAR HEAD!!! That is so unusual for me, I have to gloat about it! The girls all had a blast! It was so nice to spend QUALITY time together.. walking on the beach, picking out sea glass and "perfect" shells. Delaney cracked me up.. boy I love that one! one day we were walking along the beach and there were jelly fish all over.. it was the cutest thing when she picked up every one of them in her path as if it was the FIRST one she saw. There were HUNDREDS and out of the 30 or so she picked up it was as if, that was the only 30 on the beach! A memory I'll cherish! Here is a FANTASTIC video of her in her own little world enjoying her perfect vacation... melts my heart.... until the screaming baby!

We got to see Ann Marie and Joe (old friends of Jacks) and their kids -unfortunately that was the ONE day we had thunderstorms in the afternoon so we were all stuck inside!- photo below:

We also got to see Auntie Tina and her friend Carol.. check out that photo.. they (and Julie) helped Jack cook a wonderful meal for my b-day!! grilled food! YUMMMMM!

Here are some of my favorite pictures of our 2008 Shore vacation:

Oh, and did I mention.. I WAS THE FIRST ONE TO CATCH A FISH!??!?!?!?

LASTLY.. Love this one...

On the way home we stopped in to see Auntie Teresa and Scott and NEW BABY Grayson and Brighton! It was like HOME AWAY from home visiting with them. I only wish I wasn't obsessed with getting them sick since I was sick part of our vacation week (and runny nose while visiting!) I was dying to hold that little chunka love.. but was deathly afraid of getting him sick! Here are some super cute pictures of that visit. Oh, and the home cooked dinner..... and ... smores... mmmmmm, mmmmmmm, mmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Love you guys!!

Super cute!!!

Saturday night Post

I can't believe how these Summer vacation days are passing by so quickly. Keelyn just finished her second week of camp at Peabody Mill Environmental Center - in Amherst. She "liked" the first week - which was called Colors of Nature. She really enjoys being outside and was INside more than OUTside, so it wasn't as fun as she thought. This past week she love love loved WET & WILD (again - she took it last year and loved it too!) They scour the land looking for "water" animals (newts, salamanders, frogs, fish..etc). The week ended with them making fishing rods to fish (unsuccessfully) on Friday. Next week, Ryley heads off to camp. She is taking a class called OUT OF THIS WORLD. Sounds like lots of fun. She will make and launch a rocket!

Jack was in MN all last week.. the traveling is really getting to all of us. By the end of the day when I desperately need a BREAK, I have at least another 3 hours before everyone is in bed! One great thing out of it was the Amherst fireworks were canceled on the 4th (3rd of July) and were rescheduled for last night (Friday). Jack wasn't due home until after midnight. He called around 7:15 and said he got on an earlier flight and will meet us by around 8:30. The girls were so happy. It was a great surprise at the end of the week.

Addy has gotten another tooth! That makes 4 (2 top and 2 bottom). She absolutely refuses to eat baby food! AND loves her food! She pulls herself up on everything. Although when I hold her hands to walk she seems to not be too interested. She had her 9 month visit a week ago. She was 21.6 lbs and 29" long (they think the nurse at her 6 month visit was wrong as they wrote 29" long at that visit!??!!) Anyway, she is almost off the chart for both her weight and height! Tooo funny to me given the fact all the other girls were little skinny mini's! What do YOU think??? :

I have some great recent photos. It is amazing how I can NOW see the light that things only will continue to get easier .. 4 kids is a 16 hour a day job!!!

My friend Teresa had her 2nd little (BIG) bundle of joy! Grayson Porter was born last Monday 7/7 and arrived weighing 9 lbs 4 oz. and was 22 inches long! Check him out:

Here is a great picture of the Animal Adventure show we went to last week at the library:

Some misc. super cute pictures:

This was at Mike Kacos' new pool - we hung out there on July 4th

I love this one of Addy taken today:

The Shepard and her FLOCK!

This is great, the smile on her face!

She reminds me of a MONKEY MOMMY - checking her baby for BUGS! Although she said "MOMMY, there are MORE feathers under here!!"

WOWIE- ADDY! Chaos and school's OUT!

Addy is changing by the day! Over the last 3 weeks, she has gotten 3 teeth (two bottom one on the top), she started crawling and is now ALL OVER the place, and she pulls herself up in her crib! Amazing to see how it is all coming together for her and how those BIG grinning smiles show how proud of herself she is.

Keelyn finished school last Friday - THANK GOD (for her). We planned on having lunch all together since Jack was on vacation all last week, but she ended up eating lunch at school, so we all went glow bowling! Boy, I love that place! Very low key, kids have a blast, and it is over in an hour! Saturday we had Ryley's kindergarten cookout up in Wolfboro. Kids had a blast! The weather was super cooperative, it was just the ride that was LONG. It was the end of bike week and boy... ugh! 1/2 hour for us to get through one set of lights - that was after the 1 1/2 hours it took us to get to that light. BUT, all that mattered was the kids had fun, and FUN they had. They were pretty much in the water all day. Sunday was a clean up day - we rented movies - had plans with our neighbor, but the thunder and lightening canceled those plans. Michelle was kind enough to drop off bags of cotton candy they planned to give out at their cookout - 2 of which I devoured... BOY, it was YUMMY!

Keelyn and Ryley started Camp Invention today. They both seemed to enjoy it. I asked them if they were going back tomorrow and they both said "yes!". Jack left for Wisconsin this morning. So, we'll see how the rest of the week goes, today was nice and quiet, but this afternoon was a CHAOTIC mess! Crying, fighting, mis-behaving. UGH, just as I was starting dinner. :-( I hate afternoons like that.. we all do. Maybe I should cook dinner earlier in the afternoon and just re-heat it? Who knows, but SOMETHING has to change. Maybe I could hire a personal chef?? :-P NOW we're talking!

I heard on the news today we got 3 INCHES of rain! We had awful thunder and lightening JUST as I went to pick up Keelyn & Ryley. NO fun running to the car with 4 children in tow.

Delaney is COMPLETELY POTTY TRAINED! She still likes to wear pull-ups, I guess for the security, but that's fine with me. She is doing fantastic! I am so proud of her! Today she asked if I would buy her M&M's for going on the potty.. NOW, I think she's milking it :-)

I keep hearing on news.. and I can't believe they are talking about the Neil Entwistle case.. and how the defense is saying the mother committed suicide.. I guess they think her dead body returned the gun to her father??? SON OF A BITCH.. I hope he BURNS.. EVIL MAN.

We have plans for my friend Charlie to come visit this weekend. It's been a while, so we're happy to see them and HIS PREGNANT WIFE! BOY that womans a SAINT! You're a lucky man CHUCK!

Last week we went to visit my cousin Patricia, and her husband Adrian. Adrian has lung cancer among other ailments. He goes in for surgery to HOPEFULLY remove the cancer on July 10th. We will be praying for them. I truly believe God knows what a wonderful person Adrian is and he will get them through this. I will continue to pray for that daily.

Well, I still have not been able to get good photo's of Ryley's graduation :-(. I have a few but they are not very clear. I'm waiting on one more person who said she has some. (COME ON ELISE.. YOU CAN DO IT :-) I also have a real cute video clip of Addy from last week, I'll post tomorrow. I don't have that capability to do that from the upstairs computer (where I am now).

Oh, I just HAD to post this picture of Ryley and her NEW BACK TO SCHOOL BOOTS .. They are TOTALLY her, and she LOVE LOVE LOVES them! GIRAFFE BOOTS! WAHOOO!!!

I better get to bed... over & out.. PEACE!

Graduation & Storyland

She did it! Ryley graduated last Friday. My little girl is on vacation! Although all her and Delaney have been doing over the past 36 hours is fighting! My lovely, wonderful, dear husband DELETED the graduation photos by accident trying to format our camera. Hopefully someone else can send some to me so I can post them. Super cute!

Last week while Jack was in Paris, Delaney started running a fever on Tuesday. Wednesday, it was 104.2, so I took her to the dr. since she wasn't responding the the motrin. He said everything looks o.k. (no ear infection - strep..etc) so it was a virus. Well, Thursday when Ryley came home from school, her temp was 102.5. UGH, just in time for Storyland. Friday she was FINE (no fever in the morning), Graduation went well (except for the rollover car we were driving by on the way.. *another story*)then as we were walking around Storyland she completely drained which was odd for her, we felt her head and she was burning up.. Jack and I had had enough (2 1/2 hours) but the kids didn't get on as many rides as they would have liked. We also had Makayla (my niece) with us, who was a HUGE help!! Thanks MAKAYLA!!

Here is a great video of them (RYLEY WAS HORRIFIED!!)

Here are some great pictures!

and then when it was time to go:

now, Addy just woke up and I can't type with her koala'ing me.. so I'll try to get graduation pics and post them!

Jack COULD be a polygamist!

Last week he was in Chicago.. got home this afternoon, and he's off to "France" on Monday! hmmmmm...

As for our WONDERFUL little children... Keelyn is a busy little socialite! She had her field trip at school yesterday to Squam Lake, then a b-day party (until 9:00 pm - how fun that was toting 2 sleeping children then ONE that fell asleep on the ride to pick her up!).. today she spent the day with her friend Kelsey. Tomorrow she, Ryley and Dada are off to Canobie Lake with the girl scouts. WHEW. Busy little girl!

Ryley is finished with school Friday (6/6) I can't believe she is going to FIRST GRADE! She has accomplished so much this year - I am so greatful she was able to experience such a small school setting and learn as much as she did. NOW, it is on to the BIG school! FIRST GRADE.. only a few weeks of camp and vacation before that!

Delaney is so proud to be wearing BIG GIRL UNDIES! We're keeping our fingers crossed for NO accidents! She's doing GREAT. AND she's doing AWESOME with OUT the "brrup brrup"! She asks for it now and then when she is sad or tired, but does really well when going to sleep. My little punkin!

Addy is growing and growing.. BUT STILL NO TEETH! I swore a month ago she was getting one.. two.. now I have no clue. She is trying so hard to crawl, although today she tried to STAND! She puts her hands on the floor then next thing you know her butt is high up in the air! She pushes up on her legs.. I would laugh hysterically if she just all of a sudden pushed a little harder and stood up! She can get to the sitting position from any floor position.. (i.e. if she's on her belly, she can easily get to sitting). She is too funny all she wants to eat is people food! I've pureed things here and there and she loves it.. but I get nervous about her choking! Her are some adorable photos of her chubbi-ness. I just have to laugh as all you know what skinny mini's all the other girls were!

too cute! I have to go on the upstairs computer and add a post photo of Ryley when she was 8 months.. you'd swear it was the same kid!

Well, she is asleep, Jack went to pick up Keelyn with Delaney and Ry Ry.. so if I can get this snooz-er--roo to bed, I may have a moment of PEACE! Better run!
